The Olympia occupies the turret of the house — nine functional Victorian windows, west- and southwest-facing, with long afternoon light that builds toward sunset. Of the three suites, it is the most outward-facing: parlor chairs angled toward the garden and the Old World ironwork fence below, a four-poster queen bed, and an empire swan chaise that invites an afternoon with a book. The neighborhood moves through the day outside the tower windows. Downtown Port Townsend is a pleasant walk away.

The bathroom is appointed in marble tile and centered on a classic clawfoot tub with hand-held sprayer and shower conversion. It is the kind of fixture that rewards slowing down — particularly after a day on Port Townsend’s Victorian streets and waterfront.

A gourmet three-course breakfast served each morning in the Dining Room, with a daily-changing menu of Pacific Northwest ingredients.
