Suites

All three suites occupy the second floor of the 1889 house and share the same foundation: a queen bed with fine linens, a private en suite bathroom with marble tile, a propane fireplace, and a three-course breakfast each morning. Within that shared foundation, each suite has its own character.

History & Legacy

Built by Albert C. Adams in 1889 and updated with historic sensitivity, this house has ridden the waves of her city’s boom and bust times; homed merchants, mayors, and mothers, as well as Washington’s fifth lieutenant governor; born witness to tall ships and electric cars; hosted dignitaries and served as birthplace of the San Juan Baptist Church. That’s it, with the striped tower roof, in the center of this remarkable photo from 1890.
