The Cascadia Suite
The Cascadia suite is at the back of the house, at the end of the hall — the quietest position on the floor, with no guest foot traffic passing the door. It is anchored by a striking Renaissance Revival burled walnut bed and includes a separate seating area with a plantation-style reclining chair and ottoman. North-facing, it is the most temperately consistent suite across the seasons, staying cool naturally in summer and rarely requiring air conditioning except during Port Townsend’s warmest weeks.
The outlook from the back of the property extends toward Admiralty Inlet and Whidbey Island, with the North Cascades visible on clear days.

The Cascadia bathroom is the most complete of the three — a clawfoot soaking tub and a separate walk-in shower, alongside an original marble sink that has been part of the house since 1889. It is the kind of bathroom that changes how you think about the end of a day.

Our signature APH blend coffee, roasted by Conduit Coffee Company, is served at breakfast and available 24/7. A rollaway bed may be added in the Cascadia suite for accompanying youth guests ages 13–17. Maximum adult occupancy is two.
