Our role is stewardship

The Adams Pragge House has stood in Port Townsend for nearly 140 years, witnessing changing times, changing lives, and changing uses. When we opened the house as a bed and breakfast in spring 2023, we understood that we weren’t starting something new — we were stepping into a long, ongoing story.

We care for this historic Victorian home with intention and restraint, believing that good hospitality is felt more than it is announced. As lifelong lovers of history, art, and thoughtful service, we pay attention to small details, protect quiet moments, and allow the house to guide many of our decisions.

Running an inn is about presence, responsibility, and respect — both for the guests who pass through and for the house that remains.

Whether through a warm greeting at arrival, a thoughtful recommendation for a local stroll or evening out, or an unforgettable breakfast crafted with care, we’re honored to be part of your story. From weekend adventurers to seasoned travelers, we welcome you like friends and send you off with memories to treasure.

Each season teaches us something new. We’re grateful to share this place with those who value calm, history, and thoughtful care.
